Power Walkers
The other day I was out in the streets shopping around at my favorite spot in town, I ended up picking up a great pair of shoes and a new hat. On my way out of the last shop that I was visiting there was a group of power walkers. There were four in total and they were not messing around. I had my hands full with shopping bags and it would make sense that I would only be focused in on the shopping bags and getting to my car, but this group of power walkers was just too much fun. They were dressed over the top, meaning they had on these jump suits from the late seventies and each had a headband on that said “I walk while others watch”. Each had the same color clothes on and same exact headband. The thing that got my attention the most was that the one on the left was carrying a big boom box on her shoulder and this music was blasting out very loud, it was country music, how strange. These four were walking so fast and with such determination it really got me wanting to go power walking too. They must have taken something like a nutritious diet product before they went walking. They did not care whatsoever what other people thought about them, it was strictly about power walking and their health, not what others thought. This was quite inspirational for me I must say.
